Our first hike of the trip, in the South Mineral area, lasted much of the day. This photo is a little deceiving, since Peri looks quite tired. It was actually just by chance that we caught her in a more pensive mood, since she was still bouncing all over the place by the time we got back to our room for the night. It would take a couple more days of similar activity before she was ready to just sleep when the day was done.
