The morning started cool and cloudy but the sun took over and warmed things up considerably. Our party of seven noticed fewer caterpillars this time, although adult moths are numerous and butterflies are increasing. One highlight was finding a jumping bristletail in the archway by the office. Another was a thread-legged katydid in the compost area.
