Our lens focuses this time on Valerie's paternal grandparents. Josephine and Anthony were fondly referred to as Ma (1884 -1971) and Pa (1884 -1972) by almost everyone. After emigrating from Warsaw, Poland, around 1910, they lived in Joliet, Illinois, where they raised seven children. This photo was taken in 1954.
