On his family's farm in Turtle Lake, WI, 12-year-old Lucas gets ready to roll. He was the driver of their ATV on an expedition to spread corn for the cranes, turkeys, pheasants, and other wildlife in their fields. He was assisted by his younger sister, Amie (in the back, with her Aunt Val). It was her job to suggest their course while tossing scoops of grain out of the cart in tow. The photo was taken by Larry during his and Val's March, 2012, visit to the not-so-cold north country.
