LARVALBUG LENS, October, 2010
On Oct. 19, 2010, less than a week before her 80th birthday, Evelyn (Val's mother) enjoys the view at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area in central Texas. She and Val spent two days at the park, hiking about 4 hours the first afternoon and 4.5 hours the next morning. The weather was splendid, the wildlife entertaining, the scenery glorious, and the hiking and climbing exhausting!
