Achilidae ~ Planthoppers

Catonia texana I've only found one individual of this family. Catonia texana is pretty small, at less than 4 mm in length. Some other achilids are larger. They resemble leafhoppers and other kinds of planthoppers. The best way to distinguish achilids from other similar families is by the pronounced overlap of the rear end of the wings.
